Neighborhood Music School Inc. provides music lessons and performance opportunities for all ages in the Los Angeles area.  It boasts of some of the highest quality music performers around, each with a passion for teaching that we could find.  With a staff that holds masters degrees in education, performance awards, and high rated recordings, we provide a wealth of playing experience and excellent instruction. 

Located in the heart of downtown Arcadia a suburb of Los Angeles, just south of restaurant row, our brand new music studio facilities provide a comfortable environment in a quaint but trendy neighborhood.  Lots of free parking is available as well as refreshments and free Wi-Fi while you wait for your lesson.  Multiple family members enjoy the convenience of taking lessons at the same location with different teachers.

Our Neighborhood Preschool & Kindergarten program provides basic music fundamentals for ages 3-4 and 5-6 from teachers schooled in Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kodaly methods. Guitar, violin, and composition classes also are offered for beginners through college level.

Our store offers a full line of musical instruments, sheet music, band and orchestra books, supplies, and instrument repairs.  We sell used instruments on consignment.

We have live concerts featuring our teachers and other professionals every Friday night.  Students have opportunities to perform in this setting as opening acts with unique opportunities to play along with professional jazz combos, string groups and rock bands.  Tickets may be purchased ahead of time on our website.
