Neighborhood Music School is taking applications for teaching positions
for certain instruments. Applicants for these positions need
a minimum of a Bachelors of Arts degree with a major in music and
should be competent on at least one musical instrument. They
should be nurturing, relational, able to keep a steady weekly schedule,
and passionate about teaching.
NMS also offers internships to students who are in the process of
getting an undergraduate degree.
Applicants for teacher or intern positions, please fill out the

NMS Inc. will notify applicant when materials are
received. If positions for that instrument are open
for hiring, applicant may be called for an interview which should
include a music theory test, performance on instrument, and asked to
present a lesson plan.
If positions are not open for those particular instruments,
applications will be kept on file for 3 years.
